Job Summary: The General Manager will oversee all operations within our masonry and concrete division, ensuring operational excellence, profitability, and client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent business acumen, and some industry knowledge.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily business operations, ensuring efficient workflow, quality assurance, and timely project completion.
- Manage project schedules, budgeting, and resource allocation to maintain profitability and efficiency.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve growth and financial targets.
- Supervise, mentor, and lead teams, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
- Foster relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors, ensuring high customer satisfaction and retention.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Regularly review operational processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Prepare reports and financial analyses to inform decision-making by company leadership.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of management experience (Masonry, concrete, or construction industry is a plus).
- Some knowledge of masonry and concrete construction methods, techniques, and materials.
- Proven leadership experience with excellent team-building skills and the ability to identify talent and build cohesive teams.
- Demonstrated ability to handle pressure and maintain productivity in fast-paced environments.
- Exceptional organizational skills, with a strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Accounting and finance knowledge, with a focus on profitability and operational efficiency.
