Website Content Writer (Remote Internship)
We are hiring for our
Boxing/UFC, Soccer, and ESports departments!
Job Summary:
The Website Content Writer will manage all website content within their department. This isn’t just a blogging position, but we are also look for someone who will interact with potential users and branch out further to other untapped audiences with the content they create. SportsCasters is seeking someone who is not only personable face-to-face, but personable on the internet as well. This role will be worked remotely and will take place for 13 weeks We want an individual who is a self-starter and can create content practically in their sleep!
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Create content that corresponds to the department
- Post, promote, and perfect blogs/videos and handle comments from our users
- Collaborate with the rest of the department on what needs to be posted to the website on designated posting days/times.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficient with Google Analytics
- Knowledge of Facebook Ads Manager
- Knowledge of Wix.com
- Knowledge of Canva/Adobe Photoshop
Eligibility:
- Sophomore – Senior at a postsecondary institution working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Sport Management, Marketing, or related field
- Related experience with social media is preferred, but not required
- Start date will be discussed upon hiring
