Social Media Content Coordinator (Data Driven)

Organization Profile: Springclean is a nonprofit social enterprise whose mission is to create jobs and reduce landfill space by repurposing donated textile materials. Springclean is currently making hygienic fashion masks, stuffed animals, and quilts from recycled fabrics that are crafted by Springclean-certified artists. By focusing on our products being made from recycled fabrics, our organization is creating an opportunity to have a positive environmental and social impact by preventing excess fabric waste and providing living wages to creators within the organization. As a volunteer in our organization, you would be supporting this worthy mission.
Details of Project: Maintaining a presence on social media is crucial for companies of all sizes.The successful candidate will create a social media content calendar for the organization with one or more posts per day. The posts will be a mix of thought leadership, informational, and promotional content. 

We are looking for two individuals that will focus on either Facebook and Instagram or Pinterest and other platforms. We want these positions to not only post creative content, but also use social media feedback data to optimize viewership, drive viewer engagement, and increase traffic on the assigned platforms.

Learning Experience: You will assist us in developing content and templates to promote the artists and the work of Springclean. You will receive consistent feedback and guidance from staff and a good deal of autonomy is required to complete this work. 
The program is designed for students and young professionals seeking study credit, volunteer hours, or any other type of accreditation for work completed.

Expectations: The position will run through Summer 2021 with options to extend if both parties desire to do so. Individuals must be available for 10-15 hours per week for this project. Successful candidates will provide their own technology to meet the needs of the position. The goal is to fulfill this position by May 1, 2021.
