Media & Marketing Intern
- Manage social media accounts: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn pages
- Curate and distribute monthly newsletters
- Write blog articles, including the Entrepreneur of the Month column
- Write and distribute press releases
- Create and execute project-based marketing plans, including targeted communications for donors
- Compile together media contacts and marketing channels
- Make flyers, event images, and other promotional imagery (Canva)
- Keep our website updated and accurate (WordPress.org)
- Assist full-time team members with coordinating events
- Collaborate with Business Incubator Intern to market incubator events
- Collaborate with Microfinance Intern to market Kiva loan applications
Skills to be gained: G Suite, Canva, graphic design, web development, social media strategy, targeted and curated communications, content creation and writing, public relations/media, event planning, nonprofit marketing, WordPress.org, collaboration
